1. What is the difference between Cryptowords and standard email.
Email content (text/attachments) is sent in a plain form which makes it completely exposed to anybody who have some intention to read it. Never send confidential data such as sensitive messages or documents via email. Using Cryptowords all your data are encrypted and thus completely unreadable to anybody except you and the recipients.
2. Why should I trust Cryptowords?
We use encryption on client side which means that all your data are encrypted on your side before sent to our servers. According to strong cryptography algorithms we use nobody is able to decrypt you data without your password. Cryptowords client side source codes where the encryption takes place are available under open source LGPL licence. This ensure that anybody can check if the encryption works as we declare and if there are no security holes. Additionally Cryptowords can be incorporated to other open source as well as proprietary projects.
3. What's the difference between Cryptowords and PGP?

PGP is not centralized system and thus the security key exchange is tricky. If you want to send a secret message to someone, usually you have to meet with him/her personally to exchange the security keys.
In Cryptowords you simply use target recipient email address. If the recipient is not Cryptowords user yet, you are asked to define a password and email text which is sent to his/her email address as a first contact email. This email contains your text and a link where the recipient is asked for a password you have defined previously. First contact email text can contain a hint by which the user can quess the password or contact you to get it. This way the recipient is authenticated and a Cryptowords account is created for him/her. Since than you are securely in connection.
- PGP software have to be installed locally together with security key, while Cryptowords can be accessed from any place where the internet connection is available.

As PGP evolves, PGP systems that support newer features and algorithms are able to create encrypted messages that older PGP systems cannot decrypt, even with a valid private key. In Cryptowords such a problem doesn't exists.
